About Dori
Our greatest potential is revealed when the constraints that bind us begin to fall away.
For more than ten years, I tutored students as a side gig alongside my classroom teaching, helping many of them uncover strengths they never knew they possessed. I created spaces where they had the ability to be seen, heard, and valued within a system too often designed to do the opposite.
In 2025, that side hustle became my career when I left the traditional school system to found Unbound Potential Learning Labs, partnering with students, families, and educators on learning rooted in curiosity, identity, and joy. As that work flourished, I had the freedom to rediscover a part of myself that had quietly waited for years: my artistic drive and creativity.
Unbound Joy Studio was born from that inspiring experience and a desire to find a way to help fund sliding scale access to my educational events.
Today, I get to teach, learn, and create in all the ways I want to. I help students, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses bring their ideas to life through design, branding, printing, merchandising, and creative collaboration. Whether I'm mentoring a student, teaching a workshop, or designing a logo, it's the same work: removing barriers and helping people discover what's always been there.
Removing barriers that stand in our way reveals our unbound potential.
In that freedom, we discover something even greater: unbound joy.

Dori spends years as an educator, mentor, and advocate while running a successful tutoring business as a side hustle.

Unbound Potential Learning Labs goes full-time
What started as a side project becomes Dori's full-time career, teaching arts & STEAM in St. Johns and beyond.
2025
Unbound Joy Studio is born
Dori finds the reward of teaching freely inspires freedom to create. Dori turns their blossoming sticker and print ideas into a full creative studio built on the belief that everyone can Learn Without Limits and we all deserve to Create Without Limits.
2026
Studio opens in St. Johns
Unbound Joy Studio finds a home at treeHAUS gallery. Selling stickers, fidgets, magnets, and custom design and print work with proceeds supporting sliding scale access to UP Labs' POP-UP workshops.

You can support the Unbound Potential Learning Labs Scholarship Fund by donating directly or by purchasing our students' designs!
At Unbound Joy Studio, we believe kids are already brilliant artists, creators, and designers. We give space for them to grow as entrepreneurs. They receive a portion of the funds from sales of their designs and the rest goes to our scholarship fund. Many students donate their portion of the proceeds as well!
Funds from each student-designed sticker helps support access to creative, hands-on learning experiences for students of all ages in our community.
